Available to qualifying merchants, this program enables merchants to charge a customer service fee to their customers that pay with any form of payment other than cash and enabling the merchant to benefit from free credit card processing.

Legal and regulatory changes have created the ability to eliminate the fees merchants are paying merchant services companies to process cards. This is not a surcharge program, nor a convenience fee. It is a unique program based on language written into the Dodd Frank Bill & the Durbin Amendment whereby merchants can now offer a "cash discount" to their cash paying customers.

Here’s how it works: In your business, each product or service will have both a cash price and a card price, similar to what you see at gas stations. If a customer pays with cash, they pay the lower cash price. If they choose to pay with a card, they’ll pay the higher card price, which includes the added processing fee. When the receipt is printed, it will show only one price, depending on how they paid, no separate line items for added fees. You will also receive signage to inform customers that they can save by paying with cash. At the end of the day, your terminal, POS, or gateway will automatically batch the transactions, deduct the added card processing percentage, and deposit your money into your account by the next business day. This system significantly reduces your overall processing fees.
